The Calera Corridor is a section of the US-69 highway located in Bryan County, Oklahoma. This roadway section spans approximately four miles through the City of Calera, includes six new bridges, one bridge rehabilitation at Cemetery Road, and eight MSE retaining walls, totaling 7,500 square feet. ODOT decided on using its own iconography, including the Osage Peace Shield, belted pattern, stampeding bas-relief and basket weave elements which were originally designed by CDR. These concepts create a visually cohesive experience for commuters which ties this corridor into the aesthetic language of Oklahoma’s infrastructure.
