PROJECT INFO

CDR’s designs for the Heritage Bridge were inspired by Oklahoma’s unique American Indian history and its prosperous agricultural industry. The intention was to integrate natural and historical elements into the design of the bridge in order to capture the rich and unique culture of Oklahoma. The bold two-tone Heritage Bridge colors are based on the natural colors found on the farmlands that frame this majestic bridge Under the bridge, travelers see the woven pattern extends around the top of the pier and an interlaced basket pattern is stamped on the embankment.
